Definicja access network
A network used by front-end clients to connect to the SAP System.
Typically, the entire network of a company is used to connect SAP front-ends, and can be regarded as the access network. Therefore, in contrast to the server network, the access network is spread throughout the entire company.
High availability places differing requirements on the individual components of an access network. The backbone is of crucial importance, whereas the subnets are less important because their failure has only local effects.
