Co znaczy ACCOUNTING CONFIGURATION:

A set of Customizing settings delivered by SAP that can be used to preconfigure the flexible accounting component for an integrated Financials solution for a specific application scenario.

The accounting configuration essentially defines the components that are combined for an integrated Financials solution (for example, Business Accounting). It also defines the fields that are necessary for this integrated Financials solution and which must be registered on the data basis.

Each data basis to be created must be assigned to an accounting configuration. This assignment defines the following:

Decision for one specific Financials solution per data basis Accounting components that are to be activated for this data basis
