The provider of the SAP Biller Consolidator may assign each system (Biller Service Provider, SAP Biller Consolidator, Customer Service Provider) to a particular area. Depending on the area, you can then bill similar costs differently.

Different requirements have to be considered due to different regional locations. By assigning cost events to different areas, you can use different amounts to settle the same cost events.
