A tool that you can use to improve the performance of running large assessment cycles when WBS elements are receiver CO objects and the allocation is based on actual costs. When you run assessment cycles based on cost elements, it can take the system a long time to read the data because there are often large numbers of table entries to read. You can use the assessment preprocessor to copy costs from specified cost elements to statistical key figures (SKF) which the assessments then use as the basis for the allocation. Using SKFs as the basis for the allocation is much more efficient than using actual costs. You can either copy the actual costs, planned costs, or consumption quantities.
