Dynamic pricing mechanism that sets the price interactively based on predefined rules.

The auction rules define the bidding process, price movement (forward or reverse), the winner determination parameters, and the final price. Items can be listed for sale in a forward auction or to procure in a reverse auction. The auction setup is determined by the opening bid, reserve price, and bid increment or decrement.
