Definicja category management (IS-R)
Managing categories as strategic business units, taking the customers' perspective and challenging traditional conventions in product range, space allocation and merchandising. The underlying approach prioritises the product group and assigns less importance to individual brands. The corresponding ECR-process comprises eight steps: category definition, category role, category assessment, category performance measures, category strategies, category tactics, category plan implementation, and category review.
