A collection of qualities that are used to describe business partners who are members of a partner team, or to describe relationships between these partners.
For example, a transaction could include a group that contains the characteristics "influence on the budget" and "technical knowledge". You could then assign these characteristics to partners when appropriate.
Characteristics groups help you create effective business strategy by organizing information about the people with whom you work. They are only relevant in partner teams, such as the buying center in Opportunities.
