Co znaczy CONTROL SYMBOL:

An object that controls the formatting of data for printing on reports.

The following control symbols are used:

Repeating group, used to control which data records are read if multiple value assignments exist. Blank compression, used to suppress output of blank report sections when no appropriate data exists. Conditioned text, used to suppress repeated printing of identical texts in one repeating group in column-type output format. Character sizing, used to automatically adapt font sizes to the size of the frame available.
