Definicja data binding (BC-WD)

The linking of a UI element to a context.

Data binding means that data changes made in the back end are automatically visible on the front end. Likewise, changes to the UI element (for example, with an input field) are propagated directly via the context to the model. Binding creates a direct relationship between the server objects (context) and client objects (UI element).

Data binding is different from data mapping, which describes the relationship between contexts in the Web Dynpro Framework.
