Definicja disability insurance
An employer-funded insurance that covers the employee when he or she is partly or fully incapacitated for work for a definite period of time following an accident or illness outside the workplace. The employee is then entitled to be off work for 12 months. The first month of incapacity, which corresponds to the waiting period, is paid by the employer, the remaining 11 months by the pension fund.
