Definicja guarantor (IS-U-WA)

Firms that, in accordance with the packaging regulations, guarantee the acceptance and recovery of used packaging for the respective waste fractions (for example, glass or paper). The waste disposal partners register the collected and sorted quantities of recyclable material with the acceptance and recovery guarantors. These are either the industries that generate the waste, or companies that are specifically formed to recover secondary raw materials. To create the quantity flow verification, the guarantors - along with the waste disposal partners - document the recovered quantities on a monthly basis.
