Definicja limitation period

Co znaczy LIMITATION PERIOD:

The time after a period of punishment during which an employee's past offenses are taken into consideration if the employee commits another offense.

After the employee's punishment period passes, he or she receives any benefits that were stopped as a result of the punishment. However, for a certain number of months or years, the employee's behavior is taken into consideration if the employee reoffends. If the employee reoffends during the limitation period, he or she receives an even more severe punishment than would be the case if he or she were to commit an offense outside the limitation period.

Example

Due to the behavior of one of your employees, you issue a punishment, which prevents the employee from receiving the regular quarterly bonus for one year.

After the one year passes, you closely monitor the behavior of your employee. If the employee commits a further offense in the six months after the initial punishment is over, you stop payment of the regular quarterly bonus for two years.

In this example, the limitation period refers to the six months after the initial one-year punishment period passes.
