Definicja line balancing
Reconciliation of time capacity with time requirement on a production line. Line balancing comprises determination of the takt time of the production line and the optimal adjustment of the operations, which you assign to the line segments in such a way that they can be performed in the stipulated takt time. Alternatively, you can adjust the production line (line hierarchy) to the takt time by changing the number of takts (processing stations) and the number of individual capacities (workers) in the line segments.
