Definicja manufacturer's serial number

Each vehicle category is identified by a combination of the manufacturer key and the category key. These key numbers are used for purposes of risk categorization.

For example, there are more than 70 different vehicle key entries for the VW Golf. The categorization is performed by the German Insurance Association.
