Definicja partition (BC-CCM)
A division on a hard disk.
When configuring a hard disk with FDISK, you can organize the hard disk into self-contained areas (partitions). You call the individual partitions using different drive letters, and their capacities may vary.
ExamplePartition C has 32 Mb Partition D has 84 Mb
All the partitions can be divided into "logical drives" of varying sizes, except for the primary partition (typically, this is where the operating system resides).
