Definicja patient viewer

Provides an overview of the patient's medical history (patient record) in the documentation work station. The patient viewer enables you to display the electronic patient record such that the patient-related information it contains is formatted appropriately for different medical treatment situations.

The patient viewer is implemented, for example, as a screen area in the documentation work station (DWS).

When the user performs a task in the DWS, the patient viewer displays the data set from the patient record that is required in this context.

For this to be possible, task-specific views must have been defined on the content of the patient record and assigned to the tasks for a documentation work station using information items.
