Defined name that describes the business context of personnel cost planning.

In Personnel Cost Planning and Simulation you can use one or more planning contexts. For example, in the following cases you might want to use more than one planning context:

You want to plan across the concern, but independently for each enterprise. You create a separate planning context for each enterprise. You want to execute planning runs that derive costs in non-standard ways (for example commission planning), and for those runs you create your own planning contexts.

A planning context can incorporate several planning scenarios (for example a standard scenario and a worst-case scenario). You execute planning runs based on the planning scenarios.
