Co znaczy PRODUCT INTERCHANGEABILITY:

A suite of functions in SAP APO that are used to control the replacement of one product by another. There are basically two cases:

Discontinuation

This is the case when one product is replaced by another for technical or cost reasons. The process is sometimes referred to as supersession.

Form-Fit-Function Classes

This is the case when several products that have the same form, fit and function can be be interchanged.

These functions are closely integrated with other mySAP.com components so that the term product also refers to materials, parts, articles, and similar objects in other systems.
