The smallest geographical division in the sales hierarchy for the pharmaceutical industry.

Pharmaceutical companies generally organize their field sales force according to a relatively strict geographical hierarchy. Each line of business is divided into regions; each region is divided into territories, and each territory is divided into RPM segments. A member of the field sales force is assigned to each territory and to each region.
