Definicja second COBRA qualifying event

Co znaczy SECOND COBRA QUALIFYING EVENT:

A COBRA qualifying event experienced by a qualified beneficiary during the COBRA continuation period for an initial COBRA qualifying event.

If the coverage continuation period for the second event is longer than that for the initial event, the continuation period for the second event becomes the total continuation period.

The following are possible second qualifying events:

Death of employee Employee's entitlement to Medicare Divorce Legal separation Loss of dependent status Bankruptcy of employer
