The system can use employee seniority as a criterion for assigning preferred shift times during scheduling. Managers enter the hire date and start date when adding an employee to the system as part of the scheduling-specific employee information. During configuration, you define the seniority date preference, which of these dates the system is to use when computing employee seniority.
