Definicja shipment document

A combination of goods created at a transportation planning point that are transported together from the points of departure to the corresponding destinations.

The shipping document is the basis for planning, executing, and monitoring the transportation of goods. A distinction is made between shipments for the transportation of goods from vendors to the company (inbound shipment) and shipments for the transportation of goods from the company to customers (outbound shipment).
