A fundamental step within the consolidation of investments in which the SAP system processes the following consolidation items, in particular:

Investments Stockholders' equity Minority ownership in investment or equity Goodwill

SAP Consolidation provides the following activities:

Purchase, sale, and transfer of ownership, including the resulting changes in indirect investments Increase and reduction in stockholders' equity Recognition of minority interest in retained earnings Amortization, impairment, and elimination of goodwill Change of the method used for the consolidation of investments

The SAP system posts one document per activity.
