Definicja billing agent

Service provider that creates bills and follows up payment receipt for both its own services and those provided by third parties (other service providers).

Receivables billed by the service provider on behalf of third parties are passed to the third party concerned. They do not appear as revenue in the general ledger of the billing agent.
