Definicja Collaboration

Component of SAP NetWeaver that supports collaboration between team or project group members regardless of geographical location. Collaboration services are closely integrated with the Portal and Knowledge Management functions of SAP NetWeaver. Collaboration scenarios allow functions of other applications, such as SAP Business Intelligence reports, to be integrated. Collaboration provides Portal users with virtual rooms and a central point of access for all collaboration services. This includes services for asynchronous collaboration (discussions, tasks) and synchronous collaboration (instant messaging, application sharing). Collaboration also enables the integration of e-mail and scheduling services of other groupware providers.
