Definicja collection (SCM-ECT-LIM)

Data record with stock messages created by the collector in Logistics Inventory Management Engine (LIME), and regularly updated until it is passed on to subsequent applications.

A collection can consist of a single document item or a collection of document items, for example, all goods issues for a specific material during the course of a day. Each collection is transmitted to a subsequent application by the dispatcher, for example, to Financial Accounting or to a Business Information Warehouse. For each subsequent application there is a collection type.
