Co znaczy COST ITEM (PA-CM):

Object where an amount is stored, and which is used in Personnel Cost Planning to plan or preview personnel costs.

A cost item is either a wage type or a wage element.

Wage types originate in Personnel Administration or Payroll and are used for planning based on payroll results or basic pay. Wage elements originate in Personnel Cost Planning and are principally used for planning based on projected pay
