Definicja decimal floating point number
Content of a data object with the numeric data type decfloat16 or decfloat34. Decimal floating point numbers are represented internally in accordance with the standard IEEE-754r, in 8 byte or 16 byte representation. Decimal numbers are reproduced exactly with 16 or 34 decimal places in the mantissa. The decimal exponent ranges from -383 to +384 or from -6143 to + 6144. A decimal floating point number is also scaled. The corresponding generic ABAP type is decfloat. See also binary floating point number.
