Definicja document class (CRM-LOC)

A group of business documents that require official document numbers; all of the business documents have to be numbered the same way.

For example, in Argentina, the authorities require you to number invoices, debit memos, credit memos, and delivery notes in different ways. Each of these types of document counts as a document class.

The document class also controls other features, such as the maximum number of line items allowed in a billing document.
