Definicja gate

A feature of the process management framework that provides information about the timeliness of the completion of a well or project.

Each gate contains a timeframe for completion. If a well or project approaches the end of, or passes, the timeframe, the system flags it. After a certain period of time, the system increases the visibility of the well or project by promoting it to a higher priority, for example, or by including it in certain projects.
