A node appearing below the root and above a leaf in the Family Hierarchy tree of MDM Publisher. It is a proxy for the internal node parent above it.
Internal leafs can help provide structure to a tree with a large number of families. They do not themselves contain main table records.
Items linked to the internal leaf are interpreted as being linked to the parent.
