Participant type in coinsurance. One of the insurance companies is the leading insurer (normally the insurance company with the largest share). This is contractually documented between the insurance companies in the leading clause. This ensures that the various tasks for the leading insurer are also relevant for the other insurance companies (coinsurers). The leading insurance company normally receives leading insurer commission from the coinsurers for this.
