Definicja long-term planning matrix

A planning matrix for the medium to long-term horizon. It is made up of the characteristic value matrix and the component variant matrix.

The long-term planning matrix calculates the component requirements and summarizes them according to the settings in the period profile.

When changes are made to orders, the component requirements are not adjusted automatically. The calculated requirements are only updated during a planning run and only for those orders for which the system has generated a planning file entry because changes have been made.

The system generates several long-term planning matrices if there are more than 60,000 orders for a product.
