In the master tooth notation, the last approved or billed treatment on each tooth as stored in the system is displayed as the current findings. The master tooth notation therefore only comprises the tooth number and the findings line.

In contrast, the tooth history displays all of the treatment cases on a tooth that are recorded in the system.
