Definicja matrix organization

A view of the organizational form of an enterprise in which two structure principles overlap on the same hierarchical level.

The structures are presented graphically across both dimensions.

In Organizational Management, you can model different structures in the system as different dimensions. As well as the functional view of the organizational plan, you can have other dimensions, for example product groups or regions. Each dimension provides an individual view of your organizational plan. The intersections of the two dimensions represent matrix relationship.
