Definicja opening date

Date on which a production order or a purchase order is created.

In the R/3 or ERP system, this can be through direct creation or by converting a planned order or purchase requisition into a production order, or purchase order.

Using a product-specific opening period in the location product master, the SAP APO system can determine a scheduled opening date. This opening date is used to control the transfer of orders with subsequent conversion in the SAP R/3 system.
