Definicja order split (PP-SFC)

A function in Shop Floor Control with which a production order is divided into two production orders that are separate from each other from a logistical point of view.

During order split, part of the order quantity (split quantity) of a production order (parent order) is split at an operation (split operation) in the standard sequence. The quantity that is split off is produced in a separate production order (child order).
