Definicja pick-up and drop-off point

A node representing a point in the warehouse where goods can be stored temporarily to support the continuous flow of materials. P;Ds are required when one resource type cannot execute the full movement.

Example

In the case of a putaway on to a high-rack storage type, the pallet jack firstly moves the goods to a pick-up and drop-off point, from where the turret-truck places the goods in the final destination storage bin.
