Definicja port (BC-NET)

Co znaczy PORT (BC-NET):

An address with which two programs communicate with each other using a network at TCP/IP level.

The initiating program needs to know:

The IP address of the host on which the other program is running Which port the other program uses

A TCP/IP communication can be described uniquely as IP address 1 - port number 1 <-> port number 2 - IP address 2.

'Well-known ports' have a known number such as Telnet communcation always runs through port 23. SAProuter uses port 3299 (default).
