Main product that a manufacturing process produces.

In addition to the primary product, co-products and by-products can also be produced. The difference between a primary, co- and a by-product is relevant within the manufacture of co-products. In contrast to the primary product or a co-product, no independent order items are created in the manufacturing order for a by-product.
