Definicja request (FS-CM)

Declaration of intent submitted by an insured person as a way of claiming insurance benefits or services in the line of health insurance.

The purpose of the request is to clarify in advance whether the benefits will be paid for by the insurer. Mapping of requests in the system therefore only makes sense if the request is made before the benefit or service is provided.

The requester can be the insured person or anyone authorized by the insured (for example, a child submits a request for benefits or services related to care insurance on behalf of the parent).

A request is mapped in the Claims Management system as a claim item grouping category. A request can contain multiple request items.
