A flag appended to a resource type in the "Availability Indicators" infotype indicating that resources of this type must be included in the course planning procedure.
A course cannot be held if such a resource is not available.
Example
The resource type "Room" is flagged as "required" because you cannot hold a course of the delivery method classroom training if there is no room available.
