The rounding shell translates the packaging specification parameters that you have defined.

For example, in a packaging specification you can specify that you want the system to round pack-size-orientated. The rounding shell then translates the rounding parameters of the packaging specification into parameters for the rounding core algorithm, which is demand-quantity-orientated.
