Rule-based distributions provide automatic line item account assignment and funding splitting for all postings made to specified account assignments. This allows all commitment items entered against these account assignments to be analyzed automatically in relation to the prescribed funding requirements. If necessary, the line item can be split automatically also.

This assignment distribution tool is available for purchase orders(PO), purchase requisitions (PR), and earmarked fund documents.
