Co znaczy VARIABLE (BC-SRV-REP):

Variables include:

Text variable -

When you execute the report, the SAP System replaces the text variables depending on the context (such as today's date, the page number, the fiscal year)

Characteristic variable -

If you define a variable for a characteristic in a report, the SAP System displays the characteristic and an entry field on the selection screen. You can enter a value for the characteristic in the entry field.
