Type of European Article Number (EAN) in which the weight of a product is coded.

Fresh produce and weight EANs have 13 characters and the following structure:

They start with the prefix 21, 25, or 28. A four-character company-specific article number follows. The remaining characters are made up of the price, the weight in grams, or the number of units and two check digits.
