Official description of a withholding tax code, as laid down by a country's national tax authorities.

SAP uses withholding tax codes to represent the different sorts of withholding taxes and different tax rates. To each withholding tax code, you can assign the official withholding tax key prescribed by the tax authorities, which makes it easier for you to prepare a tax return.
