Parameter, which you can use to define the contents of XSteps, standard XSteps and process instructions. Parameters act as a placeholder for the contents of XSteps, the valuations of which are either not known until a later date or are free to change during processing.

You can use parameters as variables in a calculation formula or as symbols in a text.
