Multifunctional processing process in Public Sector for creating or changing a successor business object from a predecessor business object that is derived from a Web-based request.

In the Social Services component, successor processing (SUPR) creates or changes a social service plan (successor business object) based on a social application (predecessor business object).

Successor processing is triggered when a new application is given the status 'released' or changes to the application data require the successor business object to be updated.
