Definicja dosage form

The dosage form of a drug describes the form in which it is administered to a patient. Examples include: ampoule, cream, lozenge, capsule, solution, etc.. The administration route describes how a drug is administered. The administration route (oral, subcutaneous, etc.) can often, but not always, be derived from the dosage form.
